  1. Good machine with some faults

    The core i5 Sandy Bridge processor on this machine rocks. Integrated graphics performance is very good.
    Windows experience index for this laptop is as follows:
    Processor - 6.9
    Memory - 5.9
    Graphics 4.7
    Gaming Graphics - 6.1
    Primary Hard Disk - 5.8
    These figures are really impressive.
    Here are my observations for the other components:
    Screen - dot pitch is high (bad). I can almost see grid lines on the screen. It is also very reflective.
    Touch Pad - OK. I had trouble with multi-finger gestures.
    Webcam - Very clear
    Keyboard - Good. The chicklet keys are very nice for typing. The area near the left palmrest doesgets a little hot though.
    Back cover - Horrible. Scratches very easily.
    Ports - Good layout. Has USB 3.0 and HDMI.
    Overall its a good machine for the price I paid though it does have its faults.

  2. Dell Inspiron 15R

    I bought this Dell Inspiron 15R laptop computer towards the start of October around Thanksgiving. I have had it for about 3 months now, it is the best computer I have ever had, I have absolutely no problems with it, and I would highly recommend it to a friend.
    My 15R laptop has 2nd Generation Intel Core i5, 8GB of RAM, and a 750GB hard drive. It is an excellent computer which is very fast, gets everything done, and I absolutely love it.
    I love all the features of the laptop. The webcam is very handy and works great, the screen is really big, clear, and bright to work on and it is easy to see. The keyboard is very comfortable, soft, and easy to type on, and the mouse and touchpad are very big, easy, and comfortable to use. Also, the sound system and speakers is the best and excellent and it uses SRS support which makes sound quality the best than any other system. I also like that it has a headphone/mic jack, 4 USB ports and includes USB 3.0, and an HDMI and VGA output as well.
    I mainly use this computer to do Internet, email, instant and social networking. I do word processing and Microsoft Office and do schoolwork as I am a high school student. I really like this computer, it is the best computer I have had. I don't have any problems with this computer and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
